Rookie

Rookie (originally named Goldi, while working) has a very immature and loving temperament. He would rather hug humans than work, never the less, he made it through training. Over the course of a year, we deployed three times, for two months each, to the U.S. Embassy Compound, Iraq. There Rookie performed his job each time and endured plenty of hot weather. Rookie wants nothing more than to be a lap dog at home. He earned the new name of Rookie after I adopted him. He became the rookie K9 to his older step brother, a retired police dog, Danno. Danno would always look at him as if to say, “your such a rookie”. I told my wife this and she said Rookie would make a better name for him. Rookie and his big brother Danno love being together and take good care of each other.
